While those stunning views often steal the show, The New Dismembered Tennesseans will provide the perfect background music for the outdoor ambience of an evening at Point Park.
A hallmark of the Party at Point Park is the one time all year for photos at Umbrella Rock! We'll help you safely capture a keepsake photo from this iconic landmark, Lookout Mountain's first tourist attraction.
The fine folks from C&W Cafe will be serving up Carl's famous BBQ with your favorite southern comfort food sides. Prefer plant-based? We have you covered, with plenty of delicious options to satisfy all food lovers!
Cannons and boulders and Rangers, oh my! Kids love to explore Point Park and we'll have a fun activity or two for all ages to enjoy. Whether you want a romantic date night sans the kids or a family evening in the Park, the choice is yours and you can't go wrong!
Each ticket includes a chance to win one of a dozen "gate" prizes, ranging from event tickets to gift cards from local businesses to a set of our beautiful Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park posters.
We'll take care of every detail, with special attention to making the event fun - and safe - for our guests. Unwind with complimentary beer and wine, visit with friends old and new, take in the views... just relax and enjoy the Party at Point Park!
Please reach us at tricia@nppcha.org if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Cool, casual, and comfortable. The weather is typically still warm this time of year, so please dress accordingly. Think lightweight fabrics and casual attire such as golf shirts, khakis, summer dresses, etc. Comfortable shoes are a must for everyone for safely walking in the grass and down to Umbrella Rock. If in doubt, refer to the “casual attire” section of Emily Post (emilypost.com).
Spaces are limited near Point Park, so we have overflow event parking set up at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church located at 316 N. Bragg Avenue, Lookout Mountain, TN. Parking is available in the lower lot - just look for the signage for the shuttle stop!
Our partners at Nooga Shuttles are providing a shuttle that will run continuously to Point Park and back, for guests to get to the party and back afterwards.
PARKING
Spaces are limited near Point Park, so we have overflow event parking set up at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church located at 316 N. Bragg Avenue, Lookout Mountain, TN. Parking is available in the lower lot - just look for the shuttle stop!
Our partners at Nooga Shuttles will provide shuttle service continuously from the church to Point Park and back, for guests to get to the party and back afterwards.
REGISTRATION
First stop is the registration table. We will have a wristband for you to put on so the food and bar staff can easily distinguish our guests from other visitors to Point Park. Name tags will be ready for guests already registered, or we can make one on the fly for changes or walk-ups (if we aren't already sold out).
SEATING
We have plenty of room to spread out at Point Park, and most seating will be unassigned with the exception of reserved tables for the event honorees.
FOOD AND DRINKS
Dinner will be served buffet style, with the caterers serving the food for you as you come through the line. C&W Cafe has catered the event for years, and it's always a hit! We will have BBQ and southern comfort-food sides with plenty of options for our guests who prefer a plant-based selection.
A selection of draft and bottled beer, red and white wine, and soft drinks will be available and served by bar staff at two different bars.
UMBRELLA ROCK
Professional photographer Steve Rogers will be taking keepsake photos at Umbrella Rock this year. A digital photo with watermark will be available soon after the event for you to download and share; you will also receive details on how to order clean prints of your photo directly from the photographer if you so desire. Umbrella Rock will be open from 5:45 pm until 7:30 pm.
POINT PARK “GATE” PRIZES
We will randomly draw tickets for door prizes (or “gate” prizes, as we call them, since Point Park features an iconic gate and no door). The drawings will take place at approximately 6:45 pm or so.
They certainly are welcome! Family ticket bundles are available. We just ask that you keep a very close eye on them. Climbing the stairs of the Peace Monument is allowed and even encouraged, but please don't climb on the cannons (this means you, too, Uncle Bob).
